Heads can break and mend (with help)

This is part of a project called Heads for Stroke Association. This was an inspiring project to be involved in. We had a day of filming living portraits and pieces to camera of six stroke survivors, all of whom were astounding with their positivity and attitude to getting on with their lives in spite of the daily difficulties they endure. It is incredible how much we take for granted just holding conversations and going about our everyday lives. It called for a very calm and measured way of working on set and all the crew were fantastic. Produced by Margo Mars, the Executive Producer at Lief and directed by Lotje Sodderland. Lotje herself is a stroke survivor and has made a documentary about her recovery which can be found on Netflix.
